|Illinois Center for Autism
A special place...for special people.
|Children's Special Day School Program -
|In 1995, the Illinois Center for Autism started developing partnerships with local educational
public schools within the ICA service area.
The goal of these classrooms is to provide a bridge from ICA to public schools and to
facilitate the goal of students being able to return to their home schools. Students in the
satellite classrooms are integrated with non-disabled peers to the greatest extent possible
and are often included in regular educational settings with support provided as necessary.
