District contacts Illinois Center for Autism concerning student and district needs, obtains release for ICA to observe student and schedules an appointment for an ICA representative to observe the student in the student’s current classroom.

The Illinois Center for Autism will contact the district person concerning the visit and discuss what further assistance is needed by ICA.

If it is determined that the Illinois Center for Autism will be considered for placement, the parents will be asked to contact ICA and schedule a time to tour and bring the student to meet with ICA staff. This may be done in one or two visits.
