Children's Special Day School Program - On Site Classrooms
On-site classrooms include two self contained early elementary level classrooms, two self contained secondary
level classrooms, eight elementary level classrooms on one wing and eight secondary level classrooms on
another wing.

The early elementary level self contained classrooms focus on building basic school behaviors (staying with a
group, turn taking, attention to task, etc.) as well as academic and communication skills.

The secondary level self contained classrooms focus on problem solving skills, conflict resolution, and
independent living skills as well as academic and communication skills.

Students placed in classrooms on the elementary wing or the adolescent wing rotate among eight classrooms
each day.  Through the use of a rotation model, these students receive 30 minutes of music therapy, provided by
board certified music therapists, and 30 minutes of art therapy, provided by licensed art therapists, each day.

In addition to speech and language therapy, music therapy and art therapy, ICA also offers physical education
and occupational therapy twice a week in group settings to all students.
