In a survey of 800 parents of children with autism, wandering was ranked among the most stressful
behaviors by 58% of parents of children who are "runners." And it's no wonder: In the same survey,
it was discovered that more than one third of children who bolt are never or rarely able to
communicate their name, address, or phone number verbally or by writing/typing. – Locate the Lost
It is clear by this excerpt that the stress and fear associated with wandering children is huge. I am
glad to have a few individuals from local and national agencies coming to talk to us about a new
technology to help alleviate some of this stress. John Galzerano Health Care Specialist from

Department, and Marty Bausano Deputy Director from St. Clair County 911 dispatch will be at ICA
